Chloe Madeley has hit out at cruel mum-shamers after finding scrutiny "difficult".
The daughter of famous TV hosts Richard and Judy has said she "won't take the high ground and stay quiet" after receiving criticism.
Chloe, 36, welcomed her daughter Bodhi last August with husband James Haskell and has said she has been shamed numerous time and thinks it's important to set an example and "stick up for yourself".
She explained that she understands others choose to ignore the nasty comments but she doesn't think she should "stay quiet". Instead, Chloe focuses on looking after Bodhi and tends to take a "baby-led" approach.
Speaking to The Sun, Chloe said: "I think we all deal with it differently, sometimes I respond. I’m not a big believer that you should take the high ground and stay quiet.
'I gave birth in a car stuck in traffic - my baby ended up inside my trousers'"I think it’s important to set an example to other people who are reading my stuff or watching my stuff, that it’s okay to stick up for yourself and it doesn’t make you a weak person, sometimes it makes you a strong, capable and self-aware person.
Chloe, who has stayed out of the limelight until recently, has been filming life with her growing family for a four-part series.
She admitted that she has been worried that the ITVBe show could open her up to more scrutiny.
She said: "I’m not on Twitter because I have no interest in reading what anyone has to say on that website. But I do definitely think, when we started filming Bodhi was only six or seven months old and I didn’t need to strap her into her high chair because she couldn’t pull herself out of it.
"You do realise that people might watch this and be like 'why isn’t she strapping her in?' Things like that play on your mind and you think 'oh god, are people going to pick up on that? Are people going to criticise that?'"
Chloe tied the knot with ex-rugby star husband James back in 2018.
