Corrie ’s Adam Hussein says he won’t be sitting down with his parents to watch his steamy scenes with on-screen cougar Courtney.
His character, Aadi Alahan, is about to embark on a passionate affair with his boss’s wife, who is played by former Hollyoaks star Stephanie Davis.
Viewers last night saw Aadi and Courtney – who is more than 10 years his senior – kiss for the first time.
But Adam, 22, says it will be too embarrassing to watch the episode back with his parents, despite them being big fans of the soap.
“I know that they’re going to watch it nonetheless, because they’re avid Corrie watchers – but I won’t be watching it with them,” he laughs.

The pair move in for a kissTeenage Aadi, 17, has been tasked with looking after glam Courtney by her husband, businessman Darren Vance (Ryan Early). But the two took an immediate shine to each other – and when the older woman moved in for a kiss last night, Aadi couldn’t resist.
Adam says: “When I first heard about the storyline, I was nervous but also excited.
“I’ve never really done anything quite this intimate – this story takes things up a notch. I was looking forward to trying out new stuff that I’ve never done before and it has been quite fun.
“I was a little worried about the chemistry between Aadi and Courtney, but Stephanie has been so easy to get along with.”
Adam, who has played cornershop worker Aadi since 2020, adds: “Seeing Aadi change from a schoolboy to a young adult has been really fun.
“He started off as the young, innocent, awkward boy who would fail at flirting with girls so it’s been enjoyable watching him mature.”
