Liverpool are set to name their unsettled stars in their pre-season tour squad after receiving no offers so far for any player.

‌Skipper Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara are all the subject of interest from Saudi clubs who are prepared to throw big money at signing them. All three players are Champions League winners who boast big reputations in European football.

A number of stars have already left the Premier League for Saudi Arabia this summer, including N'Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly and Liverpool legend Roberto Firmino. Ballon d'Or holder Karim Benzema has also made the switch.

Liverpool have already signed two midfielders this summer. World Cup winner Alexis Mac Allister joined from Brighton for an initial £35million fee before the Reds activated Hungary captain Dominik Szoboszlai's £60m release clause at RB Leipzig.

Henderson, 33, is wanted by Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq, with a £700,000-a-week contract offer dominating the gossip columns. But, with the Reds keen to keep his experience in their squad, there has been no official approach with Henderson.

It's believed Liverpool want at least £20m for the England international, who still has two years left on his contract. Henderson has been the club's captain throughout Jurgen Klopp's time in charge, winning eight trophies - including the Premier League title.

Fabinho, 29, has also been targeted by a Saudi Pro League side, champions Al-Ittihad, but again there have been no bids for the Brazil international. Liverpool value Fabinho, who has three years remaining on his deal, at more than £40m.

Thiago has been linked with a return to former club Barcelona, but there has been no contact with the player at all. The 32-year-old is also wanted by two unnamed sides in Saudi Arabia, according to reports in Spain. His contract expires in a year's time.

All three players are due to travel to Germany over the weekend to start a training camp. Liverpool will also play two friendlies against local German clubs next week.

As things stand, Henderson, Fabinho and Thiago will be included in the same squad which will fly out to Singapore two weeks later for two prestigious friendlies against Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich and Championship side Leicester.

‌Liverpool's stance on interest in any of their players has been clear. Boss Jurgen Klopp will only sanction moves if he can sign quality replacements in plenty of time before the season starts in August. Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo are thought to be targets.

Klopp is keen for success this coming season after a forgettable campaign. Liverpool finished fifth in the Premier League last season and failed to go far in the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. Winning the Community Shield offered little consolation.
