Cara Delevingne has been photographed kissing girlfriend Minke after being slammed for her 'rude' rejection of Martin Brundle’s interview request at the British Grand Prix.

Following the furore, the English supermodel broke cover at Wimbledon on Monday, leaning in for a passionate smooch with her musician beau as they enjoyed the Day Eight of the annual tennis tournament. The VIP couple also showed off their playful side at the game, pulling faces at one another and laughing affectionately between their cuddles. They were joined in the pews by English actor Sienna Miller, who has reportedly been a friend of Cara’s for years.

For her courtside date, Cara, 30, looked chic as ever in a Ralph Lauren oversized tan blazer and a classic black top. She accessorised the elegant outfit with aviator sunglasses, black leather trousers, chunky black boots and a simple black handbag. Minke, 31, went for an equally sophisticated wardrobe, wearing a navy jacket over a white shirt and a pair of sleek shades.

Cara’s Wimbledon appearance comes in the wake of backlash to her recent awkward exchange with Martin Brundle, in which she snubbed the Sky F1 presenter’s request for a few words on camera. The uncomfortable moment, which occurred on Sunday at the Grid Walk at Silverstone, has since garnered quite the reaction online.

"Can we have a quick chat, [for] Sky F1?” Brundle asks Cara, before adding, “Good to see you on the grid.”

The model quickly refuses, however, responding with a simple, “No” and a polite smile.

“The deal is everybody has to speak on the grid,” Brundle replies, only for Cara to repeat, “No” and a “I can’t hear anything. I'm so sorry."

Seemingly surprised by the decline, Brundle then turns to the camera and sarcastically remarks, "I’m sure it would have been extremely interesting."

The tense interaction sparked a strong response online, with many people taking to Twitter to defend the retired British former racing driver. "Must be so frustrating the cheek [sic] people like Cara Delevinge show turning their noses up at a very quick hello" with Brundle, one person wrote. "He’s literally been in the sport for 39 years. So easy to come across as a nice person."

Cara responded to the negative reactions on Twitter, telling critics that she was "told to say no so I did."

Her reasoning was backed up by the the Alfa Romeo team, who had invited Cara as a guest to the Formula 1 event.

"Respect goes both ways: nobody should be placed in an uncomfortable situation or forced to do things against their will," the team stated on Twitter. The Italian luxury car manufacturer also publicly thanked Cara for joining them at the tournament, tweeting that "it was a pleasure" to show her "the world of #F1" and teach her "more about the sport."
