Emmerdale star Liam Fox has opened up about Dan Spencer's feelings of regrets over pushing Amelia's stalker, which leads him to face a GBH charge

Emmerdale star Liam Fox has spoken of Dan's regrets over pushing Amelia's stalker, leading to him being charged.

Dan Spencer found himself in a tough situation this week as he confronted Amelia's creepy online stalker Lloyd. When he saw them coming out the church together, he panicked and - despite warnings from PC Swirling - he decided to take things into his own hands.

He punches Lloyd in shock scenes, leaving Amelia horrified by what he has done. He marches over to confront him about what he's doing, but things soon turn ugly and he immediately regrets it.

Next week, worried over what he's done, he decides to go to the hospital and check on Lloyd, where he bumps into Lloyd's wife Julie. He's horrified to think about how she is taking this all, and he tries to cover his worries as he's taken in for further questioning.

When they ask him about what happened, and reference the hospital visit, he is horrified to find out that his little visit has caused more issues and he is left scared witless when he is charged for grievous bodily harm.

Speaking about the scenes, he told The Mirror and other press: "He spots Lloyd with Amelia coming out the church and he just flips. He confronts him and that’s where the fun begins. Straight away he regrets it."

Dan faces arrest next week

Of the punch scene, he added: "The actor did it incredibly well. We have fight arrangers, absolutely, and Matt - who plays Lloyd - has obviously been very well trained because he went down down down every time perfectly. He’s brilliant."

Daisy actress Amelia says her character is left incredibly confused by all that's happening, especially when things take a turn for the worst the following week and Dan finds himself being arrested for GBH.

"She’s confused, she was just in the church and she’s taking everything in and the situation isn’t what Dan makes it out to be. She’s shocked and confused and angry, but she’s trying to get her point across. She’s frightened because she feels like it’s her fault because she started this social media thing," Amelia reveals of Daisy's concerns.

Liam adds of how Dan feels about it all when things start to worsen: "He worries where this is going to go and he wants him to be alright, because the gravity of the situation is becoming apparent. Simple fear."
