Teen who 'dumped new baby in bin knew she was pregnant but hid it from everyone'
A teen mum who allegedly dumped her newborn son's body in a hospital rubbish bin "knew she was pregnant" but "hid it from everyone", according to her friends.
Alexee Trevizo, 19, from New Mexico, was charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in May after secretly delivering the baby boy in the bathroom at Artesia General Hospital.
The suspect repeatedly denied her pregnancy and insisted her weight gain was due to birth control pills - but her former classmates have claimed she knew she was pregnant.
One former classmate told the Daily Mail: “She knew she was pregnant and hid it from almost everyone. She told me she had just gained weight because she was ‘on the pill.'”

Medics opened the door and found Alexee had “done something to herself” to try to terminate the pregnancy after she was covered in blood.
And just moments later, a nurse found a dead baby boy in the rubbish bin - despite repeatedly denying she was pregnant.
The shocking incident happened at Artesia General HospitalA friend said there were plenty of signs she was pregnant after she appeared to gain weight in November.
“We didn’t want to get into her business, the last thing you want to ask someone who looks like they’ve gained weight is if they were pregnant,” one friend said.
When weight gain became impossible to hide the suspect told friends she had to go on a diet, according to her classmate.

“When news broke of a dead newborn several people at Artesia High School said it was Alexee’s baby,” one of her friends said.
“A few weeks later Alexee and her boyfriend Devyn [Fierro] returned to school, there were whispers about what had happened, but no one knew anything for certain,” the friend continued.

The suspect was later photographed smiling at her prom just weeks after allegedly killing her child.

“Alexee is a narcissist,” one of her friends said. “She named the baby boy, the one she is accused of killing, Alex Fierro. She deserves some serious prison time if convicted for what she did, she needs to pay for her crime.
“More importantly, she is going to have to answer to God for what she did to her son.”
She is due to go on trial on October 2.
