Title Update 7 is now live in FIFA 23, with EA Sports improving corners as well as removing a frustrating bug when using the FUT
transfer market.
If you've tried using the transfer market in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team over the past few months, you have more than likely encountered the infuriating error that constantly resets your search filters. Not only is it frustrating having to input all your search filters again, but it can prove time-consuming, and can make sniping a player almost impossible.
But, in FIFA 23's seventh Title Update, EA confirmed that the issue has finally been fixed, relieving millions of FUT players of the temporary transfer market stress. This seems to be the biggest change made in Title Update 7, but a big update to corners looks set to help increase your chances of scoring.
Ever sent a cross into the box, but your 5'8" wingers are the players challenging the ball whilst your 6'3" defenders are sat back on the halfway line? Well, this issue is no more according to EA, with the latest update making it more likely that taller players will place them in attacking-oriented positions.
These changes aren't being made available to all platforms, with only PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC receiving the update and no word on if or when PS4 and Xbox One users will be able to have the same update. The Title Update 7 blog post also lists further updates to gameplay as well as general bug fixes.

FIFA Ultimate Team
Addressed the following issues:
- When returning from Transfer Market Live Search Results after performing a search using search filters, those filters could have incorrectly returned to their default settings. This issue was previously listed on the EASF Tracker.
- Player Items sometimes displayed incorrectly on the Transfer Recommendations tile.
Gameplay
Made the following changes:
- Adjusted corner kick positioning for the attacking team so that taller players are more likely to place themselves in attack-oriented positions.
Addressed the following issues:
- Improved referee logic when deciding to call for an offside when the offending player was outside of the pitch’s playing area.
- In some rare situations, a requested pass would not be performed by the ball carrier.
- In rare cases, some tackling animations did not play correctly.
- Sometimes, an Outside Of The Foot Shot animation did not occur when the shot was requested correctly.
General, Audio, and Visual
Made the following change:
- Added the ability for players to automatically download the latest visual assets such as balls, kits, and more, without a Title Update.
- An automatic download can occur when starting the title or when entering modes.
- When a download is taking place, a message will appear on screen.
- Downloads can be manually canceled by following the on screen button prompt, but note that some downloads may be required for online play.
- Update some kits, badges, player portraits, and tifos.
Addressed the following issues:
- Playtime Match Limit messages could not be closed when a set limit was reached.
- This issue was previously listed on the EASF Tracker.
- [PC Only] Addressed instances of an EA anticheat stability issue that could have prevented the title from launching in some cases.
- On some save screens, EA Social was unintentionally available.
- [PC Only] Known issue: Please note that cross-play will be unavailable until this Title Update is released to other platforms in the near future.
FIFA 23 Title Update 7 is available to download now on available platforms. All you need to do is restart the game and you should see the update become available.
