The second edition of the Arnold Clark Cup got underway on Thursday with all four teams in action across the afternoon and evening.

Italy faced Belgium in the early kick-off at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes and 19-year-old Marie Detruyer gave Belgium the lead in the first half. However, Manuela Giugliano levelled the scoreline for Italy in the second half.

It took a late strike from Tessa Wullaert to clinch the 2-1 victory for Belgium in the 90th minute and put them top of the standings before England's game against Korea Republic. It was a far more straightforward victory for the Lionesses though as Georgia Stanway gave them the lead from the penalty spot in the first 45.

Almost straight from the kick-off after the break, Chloe Kelly made it two for Sarina Wiegman 's side, while Alessia Russo and Lauren James scored the third and fourth goals of the game. The Lionesses claimed top spot in the standings after matchday one on goal difference ahead of the game against Italy on Sunday.

Now, it's time to vote for your player of the day from six nominees across all the teams.

Two of England's goalscorers Stanway and James are among the candidates, while Belgium's Detruyer was also a standout on the day. Giugliano impressed with the equaliser, but it was a busy afternoon for Belgium shot-stopper Nicky Evrard.

Justine Vanhaevermaet was also a key performer for the Red Flames in the early game.
