Today marks the start of the ICC World Test Championship Final between India v Australia.

The two leading test teams on the planet will do battle for the trophy and Australia will be hoping it's the first of two major successes this summer for them as they will be bidding to lift The Ashes there later on this summer.

It's set to be a thrilling test with India currently sitting top of the rankings, however the last major ICC trophy they won was as far back as 2013 when they won the Champions Trophy in England. Since that victory they have lost three finals so they will be counting on their luck to change.

Australia will be looking to get into good shape ahead of The Ashes with Pat Cummins' side starting their huge series with England at Edgbaston on Friday, June 16.

When is it happening?

The final between India and Australia is taking place at the Oval from Wednesday, June 7 to Sunday, June 11.
