Ubisoft is hosting its own showcase next week and is set to feature The Crew Motorfest and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Ubisoft – not content with letting everyone else take the spotlight – has its own Summer Game Fest showcase on the way in the form of the Ubisoft Forward event. The stream is set to show off all of the latest news from upcoming Ubisoft tiles like Assassin's Creed Mirage and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

Ubisoft is also set to be at this week's Summer Game Fest Opening Showcase, and will no doubt appear during the Xbox and Starfield Showcase – both of which air before Ubisoft's own event.

When is Ubisoft Forward 2023?

Ubisoft Forward 2023 will take place on Monday, June 12 at 6pm BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT with a preshow starting 15 minutes earlier at 5:45pm BST / 12:45pm EDT / 9:45am PDT. Ubisoft has yet to confirm how long this event will be; last year's event lasted roughly an hour and a half, but that contained an extended Assassins Creed Showcase at the end of it. If we had to speculate we expect this years show to last around an hour.

What to expect from Ubisoft Forward 2023

Ubisoft has confirmed via a trailer for the event that we'll be seeing new reveals from Assassin's Creed Mirage – the highly anticipated new entry in the Assassins Creed series which takes the series back to its roots after the RPG-esque trilogy of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Odyssey, and Origins. Assassins Creed Nexus VR was also confirmed for the event during the Meta Quest Showcase last week.

Also confirmed is a new look at Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora based on the shockingly popular James Cameron films. The game is already confirmed to be releasing in FY2023 to 2024 which means before April 2024, so it's probably a safe bet that we'll get a first look at gameplay, and perhaps a date for this upcoming title at the event. The video also promises reveals for The Crew Motorfest and hints at a mystery title at the end of the video.

Otherwise, Ubisoft has some other titles in development that we could see: the planned Rayman expansion for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, the unnamed Star Wars open world game, a Splinter Cell remake, the extremely troubled Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake and multiple Assassin's Creed titles under the Assassin's Creed Infinity banner. We're sure at least one of these will show up at the event.
