If you're looking for a professional-level mouse that is simple in design, super lightweight, and super fast, then the Logitech Pro X Superlight gaming mouse is a perfect option.

However, be warned, you will be compromising on aesthetics and design in order to get a high level of performance, which includes a stunning 1ms wireless response time. It's also the most comfortable mouse I've ever had the pleasure of using.

You also get a very wide resolution range of 100 - 25,600 dpi, which despite not matching that of Razer's flagship models, which typically max out at around 30,000 dpi, it still the fastest Logitech gaming mouse on offer right now.

This pointer comes in at £139.99 / $139.99 / AU$249.99, which is a relatively well-priced option given the type of mouse it is. A similar alternative such as the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro which is also exceptionally light and wireless comes in at £149.99 / $149.99 / AU$269.

Logitech Pro X Superlight Design

The Logitech Pro Mouse is a somewhat ambidextrous pointer, with a form that leads to it being comfortable in both your left and right hand, however, the two additional buttons on the mouse are on the left-hand side meaning only right-handed users are able to take advantage of them.

Living up to the Superlight in its name, this mouse comes in at just 63g. In order to achieve this weight, it doesn't have any snazzy design elements like tons of extra buttons or any RGB. You'll find this mouse is super sleek and simplistic, so if you're looking for something flashy, you won't get that here. In compensation, you do get quite a few colour options here, including Black, White, Pink, and Red.

Logitech Pro X Superlight Features

Considering this mouse is made to be as light and fast as possible, it means there aren't a whole host of additional features on offer here. It's wireless and connects via a 2.4 GHz adaptor, boasting 70 hours of battery life which rang true during my testing, if you find the battery runs out during a game, you're able to plug it in and continue playing practically instantly with the included micro-USB cable (I have no idea why Logitech hasn't migrated to USB-C yet).

It also features a Logitech HERO sensor which has a resolution range of 100 - 25,600 dpi, making it Logitech's fastest-ever mouse. Despite connecting wirelessly, it also has a 1ms response rate, something impressive to find amongst wireless mice on the market.

The two additional buttons can be programmed using the Logitech G HUB software, which is easy enough to figure out and the mouse has onboard memory to save your profiles so you can use these settings no matter what machine you're on.

Logitech Pro X Superlight Performance

As an avid FPS fan, this mouse delivers exceptional performance, it was so lightweight and comfortable to use even for those all-day gaming sessions on the weekends – no judgment, they happen to the best of us. There was no noticeable input lag when using it either wired or wirelessly.

I adore RGB and want it on absolutely everything, so for this mouse to have none at all was a bit disappointing. But, it makes sense considering what Logitech is trying to achieve with this mouse.

Overall thoughts on the Logitech Pro X Superlight

This is a truly amazing gaming mouse, which really brings what it promises to the table, being super light and super fast. It is clearly catered to professional players or those aspiring to be, but as such, this means you do have to compromise on style in order to get this level of performance, but you likely know that before hitting add to cart.

If you are more of a casual gamer who wants a bit of RGB and after something which doesn't need to be as lightweight, then this isn't the pointer for you. Coming in at £139.99 / $139.99 / AU$249.99, it is somewhat expensive for a gaming mouse, however, it's relatively standard when you're looking at professional-level models.
