Man City celebrated the Premier League title on Saturday afternoon, with their win coming with three matches to spare following Arsenal's 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.

Their manager, Pep Guardiola, now celebrates his fifth Premier League title as City boss, with the past six seasons seeing City finish second just once. This season's title could be the most historic, however, as City are currently on track to celebrate a famous Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League treble.

The City boss has not achieved such an honour since 2008/09 when, in his first season in management, Barcelona won a famous treble. He has not scaled such heights since, but this City team are now 23 matches unbeaten on their way to matching the feats of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and Co.

Guardiola has evolved as a manager since, with this season's tactical innovations helping City to what could be their best ever season.

In recent months, Guardiola has pushed John Stones into central midfield, working with a 3-2-4-1 system and the new tactic has been working wonders for his side.

However, Guardiola is seemingly more than just a tactical mastermind, with the City boss shown to be a skilled motivator as well. In a video tweeted by the official club Twitter account following the title win, Guardiola is seen to motivate his players ahead of a match earlier in the season, lauding them as warriors and declaring his 'love' for them.

In the video, he says: "I want my warriors [to] attack every one and defend every one." He continued. "Because everything we have won guys has been on the pitch - always."

"I love the club and I love you too. Let's go!"

The intensity in the clip shows an intensity which is rarely seen in the media, with Guardiola often presenting as a genial character when dealing with the press. However, there can be no doubt as to how his players respond to such methods, with on-pitch success justifying his off-field methods.

Speaking following their title win, club captain Ilkay Gundogan chose to thank Guardiola for the achievement, saying: “I would like to thank Pep, all the backroom staff and everyone who works across this football club.

"Every single day they help provide us as players with everything we need in order to try to be successful. There is no way we could have won this title without all their support.

“To have won this trophy three times in a row and five times in six years is incredible. That quality and consistency helps sum up what Manchester City stand for and ensures the club will continue to strive for success going forward."
