Coronation Street's Linda Hancock is returning to the cobbles after over a year away.
Linda, played by Jacqueline Leonard, originally appeared in 2015 when she took her daughter Katy and J oseph to Portugal before Katy died in a car collision. She was at the centre of a huge storyline before she departed the show.
Linda made another appearance on the cobbles in 2022.
After a while away, her character Linda finally makes her return after being invited by Gemma Winter ( Dolly-Rose Campbell ) to her upcoming wedding to Chesney Brown.
In upcoming scenes, Linda shows up to thank Gemma for the invitation and even offers to pay for the catering. Gemma is thrilled by the offer while her mother Bernie is seething.

Linda Hancock returns to the cobblesGemma urges Chesney to get to the charity shop where she was told there are a few suits that should fit him and Joseph.
After their trip, Linda bumps into Chesney and Joseph rocking their wedding suits and offers to buy them better ones. They accept the offer but Gemma is none the wiser.
Linda is the mum to both Izzy and her late sister Katy, who was the mother of Chesney's son Joseph (William Flanagan).
When Linda arrived last time, Chesney and Gemma were struggling financially but her meddling led to Joseph going missing.
She offers to buy new suits for Chesney and JosephHe subsequently returned home but reluctantly agreed to return with his grandmother to Portugal as he worried he was too great a financial burden on his father and soon-to-be stepmother.
In the end, Chesney and Gemma convinced Joseph they wanted him to stay and Linda returned to Portugal on her own.
Last month, the actors were pictured filming scenes for Coronation Street.
Dolly was seen in a bridal store trying on a wedding gown, while Sam Aston, who plays her husband-to-be, rocked a dapper suit for the scenes.
The actress even kept warm in a red coat in between takes of the upcoming scenes.
