There's been a big shake-up in the BBC's presenting team for the Coronation - with no role for David Dimbleby.

The former Question Time host has been involved in royal and political coverage for the BBC for a number of decades and came out of retirement to cover the Queen's funeral last year.

Anna Botting will be live from Buckingham Palace in the build-up to the ceremony, including the procession to Westminster Abbey.

As the day draws to a close, Mark Austin will reflect on the proceedings from Buckingham Palace between 5-8pm.

From 8-9pm, Gillian Joseph will look at highlights and how the day was marked around the country, followed by a special coronation highlights hour between 9-10pm.

Viewers can also stream for free on the Sky News website or app and on the Sky News YouTube channel.

In addition to the live coverage, Sky News will air the documentary My King, My Country on how the public feels about the monarchy.

And Burley will speak to the people who know Camilla well for the podcast Queen Camilla: For The Love Of Charles.

Channel 4

While everyone else is showing nothing but Coronation, Channel 4 will be providing 'alternative' coverage.

Instead of providing more footage from the ceremony, there's going to be some comedy and an expertly awkwardly timed documentary on the disgraced Prince Andrew.

When the ceremony is on, they will be airing old episodes of Frasier and the movie Johnny English Strikes Again.

During the concert on Sunday night, Channel 4 are airing two-part series Andrew - The Problem Prince at 9pm.

Emily Maitlis will speak in detail about the interview that shook the monarchy and the world in November 2019.

Using rare archive footage, interviews and exclusive access to palace insiders, the documentary will uncover the inside story of Andrew's disastrous Newsnight interview and unravel the scandal that led to his spectacular fall from grace.

While Frankie Boyle’s Farewell to the Monarchy will provide a different perspective on the history of the royal family and its modern-day goings on, as the comedian asks whether the royal family has a place in today's world.

Or, as he puts it: "Increasingly, the British monarchy appear like animals in a zoo that’s fallen on hard times – fidgety, balding, pacing up and down their marble cage, pausing only to chew their own tail off or commit a sex crime out of boredom."

There will also be another chance to watch the controversial Prince Andrew: The Musical and they have already aired a coronation special of comedy The Windsors.

Channel 4's Chief Content Officer, Ian Katz, said: "Channel 4 exists to provide viewers with an alternative, so as the nation is engulfed by pomp, circumstance and forelock-tugging, we'll be offering a rather less reverential slate of programmes including Frankie Boyle’s case against the monarchy and the Windsors' scabrous satirical take on the Coronation."

Frankie Boyle's Farewell to the Monarchy - tbc
To mark the beginning of a new chapter in the British monarchy, comedian Frankie Boyle takes a wry, if typically spiky, look at the state of the Royal family and its future: by looking back at its 1,000-year history.
