They are the Geordie Boys from Brazil, two Samba stars who have fallen in love with Tyneside.
Newcastle United midfielders Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes have told of their special relationship with the side’s supporters.
The pair starred in the Magpies’ 6-1 demolition of Champions League rival Tottenham on Sunday and again in a 4-1 away victory over Everton on Thursday night.
Ten goals in five days, with two from Joelinton, 26, has brought back the halcyon days of the Kevin Keegan era in '90s. The delirious Toon Army have had a soft spot for Brazilian players ever since they signed Mirandinha in 1987, the first ever to play in England.
Bruno has pledged to treat the entire team to a meal at a local Brazilian restaurant if they qualify for the Champions League.

Joelinton’s goal against Spurs has been viewed more than a million times online. He told the Mirror that he wants to bring “the culture of Brazil” to Newcastle Utd.

He has not swapped a kickabout on the Copacabana for Cullercoats just yet but said: “I am really enjoying life here. The support that the fans give us, also the love for me and Bruno.
“We both feel really happy here. I feel at home. I hope that it continues for a long time.”
With a smile as wide as the Tyne, he added: “I have not played football on a beach yet.”

“I love to live here and that is important, to be part of this city,” he said. “Everyone feels part of it.”
They may not have the weather, but at least they get their churrasco, the juicy skewers of meat famously served up in their homeland.
The pair enjoy Newcastle’s Rio steakhouse. Bruno, 25, took the Brazil boss Tite there shortly before last year’s Qatar World Cup.

“Everything has changed in the club and the city,” he said. “The fans support us more and more. It’s a great time to be here after the difficult times. A lot of work has been put in since the Gaffer arrived.”
Bruno now has his sights firmly set on the Champions League. “We want to make history,” he said.
The fans hope this is only just the start of a new era at the club... made in Brazil.
