Disney+ viewers have been left horrified after spotting a “bone-chilling” editing fail in background of new movie Prom Pact.

The film, which has been released recently on the streaming platform, follows a high school senior who tries to manipulate a hated peer, only to fall in love with him.

But one scene in the movie has caught the attention of fans, for all the wrong reasons.

A TikTok content creator has spotted a “frightening” addition in the background of a scene showing the high school cheer leading team performing during a basketball game.

The camera shows the fans cheering from the stands, but the second row of supporters are very odd looking.

Sharing the clip on the social media site, creator Kelsey gave fans a closer look at the scene where she’d noticed the whole row of people in the background were computer-generated images (CGI).

She pointed out the “scary” non-human extras in a video, leading to thousands of viewers flocking to the comments section.

One user wrote: “No because I thought I was going crazy. When I tell you that was bone chilling.”

“That's scary, why?” another said, while a third commented: “This is so scary what the heck.”

“That's so terrifying,' a fourth wrote.

“No a whole row? That's scary,” someone else said.

Another user wrote: “I'm scared,” and some questioned why Disney didn't use real human extras, or at least put the CGI actors in the back rather than in full view in the second row.

“They could have at least put them in the back. They made them front and centre,” commented one person.

“This feels like more work than getting real people,” added another, while one penned: “Bro Disney is acting like they can't afford to hire extras.”

Another said: “Disney can't be that broke,” and one simply added: “ Budget cuts.”
