Jurgen Klopp has warned Arsenal that his players are ready to bounce back on Sunday after their woeful performance against Chelsea.

Liverpool were fortunate to escape Stamford Bridge with a goalless draw on Tuesday. Chelsea found the net twice, as Reece James ' strike was disallowed for Enzo Fernandez being marginally offside and Kai Havertz was penalised for elbowing the ball over the line.

Liverpool have won just one of their last eight Premier League away games, but it's a different story at Anfield. The Reds have won three consecutive league fixtures on Merseyside, including their famous 7-0 triumph against Manchester United last time out.

As such, Klopp is confident his misfiring players can deliver against leaders Arsenal on Sunday. The Gunners are eight points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League having played a game more, with seven consecutive wins in the bag.

"The next game is Arsenal," noted Klopp after Tuesday's stalemate. "I don’t know exactly where Arsenal were last year, but they are now obviously flying, in incredible shape, play super football, honestly, that is really good to watch.

"But we are there, it is a home game and our home record is not as bad as the away record. It means I am really looking forward to this game now because tonight I saw a step and that’s what I wanted. Now let’s carry on. Anfield is waiting for us and we want to deliver.

Do you think Liverpool can beat Arsenal? Let us know in the comments below!

"We have another 10 games to play and the next one is Arsenal. Not the other nine, I am not interested in. But the next one is Arsenal, so if we are difficult to beat against Arsenal we can win this game. If not, Arsenal will just go over us and then we will see.

"With one point, the steps, how I said, are not massive. If you win a football game, all of a sudden three points for one game; wow, things can look different.

"But for the moment we have no lack of goals, or lack of where we want to end up; we want to be as successful as possible. But that means for each weekend, or for each midweek game, like today, we want to win it. I saw that tonight and for that, I am fine."

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be aware of the challenge that awaits his players. Liverpool thumped the Gunners 4-0 in their last Premier League visit to Anfield in November 2021, while they lost 1-0 to Everton in their last trip to Merseyside in February.

Arsenal also have a tough run in, as they still need to play Man City, Chelsea and Newcastle before the end of the season. Yet it's not all bad news for Arteta's side. They defeated Liverpool 3-2 at the Emirates in October and are in terrific form.

Arteta has urged his players to enjoy the title race. He said after the 4-1 win against Leeds on Saturday, "Just enjoy the moment that we are in."
