Anthony Joshua joked that Ruben Loftus Cheek had "beaten me to it" as he enjoyed a candid interview with Laura Woods after Saturday's fight.
The two-time world champion scored a unanimous points victory over Jermaine Franklin at the 02 Arena as his hand was raised for the first time in over two years.
There was not the explosive knockout that Joshua's fans had hoped for and the Brit was frustrated that he could not produce fireworks for the packed out London crowd.
But Joshua was in relaxed mood in the locker room post-fight after finally returning to winning ways, and conversation turned away from boxing during a warm chat with DAZN presenter Woods on iFLTV.
Woods asked Joshua who is dream date was midway through the interview and the 33-year-old replied: "You. I know (Ruben) Loftus Cheek has beaten me to it!" Woods then joked: "It's fine, there's no competition!"
Eddie Hearn opens talks for Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou heavyweight fightChelsea midfielder Loftus-Cheek had confessed to Woods during a talkSPORT interview last week that she was his celebrity crush. And Joshua then asked if Woods, 35, was in a relationship.
"I'm not in a relationship no, are you?" she said, suggesting she was too focused on work and asked if Joshua had the same mindset.
Joshua, who confirmed he was not romantically attached, replied: "With boxing I didn't want to commit because I didn't want to go training and then I'm busy arguing with my Mrs or something and my head's not in the game.
"So I just decided to keep my head where it needs to be. I've seen good relationships and bad ones." Woods then posed to Joshua whether he has simply not met the right woman yet.
"I know some good women for sure, I've met some really amazing women but it's me not them," Joshua said. He then clarified that he will look to settle down in a relationship when his boxing career is over.
And when asked if a relationship would provide a healthy balance in his life, Joshua said: "What happens then when I go to Texas for four months?" He added: "I'm so free, I don't have any pressure on me.
"I'll be real - not right now. It would have been better to have been with someone from the get go who gets it. Someone who gets with me now might not understand - 'I don't want to go to training, I don't want to do this right now'."
