Those unlucky enough to have noisy neighbours will know all to well the stress it can cause.

It can be really frustrating to cope with after trying every amicable way to get them to quieten down, from polite notes through the door to friendly chats.

It's even harder when children are the one's causing the noise, as the little tot's are the apple of their parents' eye.

One resident is so tired of their neighbour's 'demon' kids that they are desperate for advice on what to do next. The children keep them up until 1am some days, and they can't take it any longer.

The person, who remained anonymous, took to Reddit to explain: "I understand kids have to play and run around.

"But for 10 hours? I am not making this up I need advice, my neighbour has two kids that won't stop running, smashing, dragging furniture the whole day. I only wish for five minutes without any loud noise.

"I spoke with the landlord, I spoke with everyone except the police and I don't know what to say to them. They stay up until 1am some days."

In the comments, many were shocked at the late hour the kids stay up until and asked what the parents were doing.

One person wrote: "Kids used to be in bed by 7-8pm. Young kids that is. It used to be that parents enjoyed some peace and quiet after the kids are in bed. Don't parents value peace and quiet anymore?"

While another stated: "I have three kids and no way would I allow them to make so much noise. You can't really control a baby. But kids over three-years-old should have proper discipline and routine."

A third penned: "Have you talked to the parent? Are you sure these kids are even supervised?"

"Isn't it quiet time after 10pm. Call the police," another commented.
