LETTERS: 'Boris had drinks, yet we couldn’t have a proper funeral for mum'
So, Boris feels it was OK to have drinks after a difficult day at work, yet we couldn’t have a proper funeral for our beloved mum.
We were allowed just ten socially distanced people at her cremation, not even a proper service.
We weren’t allowed to sing and we had to sit five on each side of the crematorium.
We couldn’t be together afterwards either.
The following day, Boris and co had a garden party (oops, sorry 'workplace meeting') with alcohol and nibbles. It beggars belief.
Boris Johnson attacks Rishi Sunak's failure to send fighter jets to UkraineMy husband and daughter are both nurses and they certainly had difficult days but weren’t treated to wine and snacks after.
No, they had limited access to a staff room due to social distancing rules and were lucky to get a break in a 12-hour shift.
If Boris gets away with it, then there really is no justice.
