Reese Witherspoon "never saw herself getting another divorce" and has been left "disappointed and upset" after splitting from her husband Jim Toth, according to a source.
The couple announced their divorce in an emotional statement last week after almost 12 years of marriage and have said it has been a "difficult decision" to make.
Reese, 47, and Jim, 52, share 10-year-old son Tennessee and are now focusing on "co-parenting amicably".
"Reese is obviously disappointed and upset. She never saw herself getting another divorce. They love Tennessee and this is their focus. They will continue to co-parent amicably. There is no drama," the insider said.
They added that their relationship "moved quickly", with Reese "thrilled by his attention and excited to marry him".

"It's been very difficult for Reese to get to this point though. They both concluded this was right for them."
Reese and Jim tied the knot in March 2011 after meeting as a mutual friend's house two years earlier.
The Legally Blonde star announced their separation on Instagram, writing: "We have some personal news to share...
"It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.
"We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.
"Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter.
"These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone's respect for our family's privacy at this time."
According to reports, no records of a divorce filing could be found in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Reese was previously married to Ryan Phillippe, with whom she shares her two eldest children with. The former couple tied the knot in 1999, after meeting on the set of Cruel Intentions, but officially divorced in 2008.
