Jordan Spieth has revealed his Premier League allegiances after posing for a photo with Matthew Fitzpatrick's US Open-winning caddie Billy Foster at this week's WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.
2015 Masters champion Spieth is one of the most popular players on the PGA Tour, especially with the fans on home soil over in the United States. Now though this popularity is set to rise across the pond, and more specifically in West Yorkshire.
This comes after a photo of the three-time major champion was uploaded onto social media by Premier League club Leeds United of him performing the iconic Leeds salute alongside Yorkshireman Foster.
Foster works on the bag alongside Fitzpatrick and helped the Englishman secure the US Open title last summer. Fitzpatrick himself is an avid Sheffield United fan, and was even invited to parade his US Open trophy around the Bramall Lane pitch.
His caddie however is a big supporter of their Yorkshire rivals Leeds, and has bizarrely got the former world No. 1 on board. Sharing the photo on Twitter, the official Leeds account wrote: "Legendary caddy Billy Foster spreading the good word again! #ALAW @JordanSpieth!"

And it seems the post proved to be a hit with the West Yorkshire club's support.
One fan - @PaddyNicholas1 - called on his fellow supporters to pledge their support behind Spieth at this week's event, replying: "Floods of Leeds fans betting on Speith to win the WGA matchplay at 22/1. Vamos Jordan!!!"
Adopting the 2015 Masters champion as one of their own, @Pointmany commented: "Your Leeds and you know you are Jordan," whilst another supporter - @AUTOOKMYSOUL - was clearly pleased, adding: "Someone pinch me."
Foster himself also posted the photo on Instagram, christening Spieth as Leeds supporter. He wrote: "Welcome to the @leedsunited fan base Jordan Spieth." The three-time major champion is back in his home state of Texas this week, as he looks to chase down a first WGC Match Play title.
