X Factor winner and former Coronation Street star Shayne Ward could be set to move to Netflix after opening up on his latest career move.
The soap star, who played Aidan Connor in Coronation Street, has revealed he has set up meetings with execs for the streaming giant.
Shayne is looking to move away from writing pop songs and focus on composing TV scores for Netflix programmes.
Opening up about his new venture, the X Factor winner said: "I have been writing a lot of things to pitch to Netflix for their films and series. There will hopefully be a few big things coming out on Netflix soon but I can’t talk about them right now."

The former Coronation Street star is hoping to swap Weatherfield for Netflix huge hits such as Stranger Things.
Shayne admitted he's a big fan of the popular show which is set in 1980s Indiana and is famous for its soundtrack.

The X Factor winner recently confirmed his return to TV in new Channel 5 crime drama Good Ship Murder.
He will be reunited with fellow former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley, who coincidentally played his girlfriend in the ITV soap.
Shayne, who is engaged to Sophie Austin, told The Mirror his two children inspired him to return to both his acting and singing career this year.

“It just feels like now is the right time to focus on my music career and show people what I have been working on. I see it as more of a return than a comeback.
"I’m 39 this year and in such a beautiful place – I am engaged to an incredible woman and have two beautiful kids. I want them to see me on stage and to see what Daddy can do."
