Louis Tomlinson has recalled feeling as though he wasn't in control during the early days with One Direction after the group appeared on X Factor.
The musician has never shied away from sharing what has been on his mind and has previously opened up about his time with the chart-mauling group.
One Direction were catapulted to global stardom in 2010 after the five members were put together on the programme, despite auditioning as solo artists.
Each week, their fanbase contained to grow but despite finishing in third place, they went on to become one of the most successful bands of all time.

Speaking in a trailer, the Doncaster-born star said: "It had always been in my mind that it'd be cool if we weren't just the standard boyband who just got given songs and sang them.
"Maybe we should be writing our own songs, I could feel stuff bubbling for us, I could see that we'd got people's attention.

The dad-of-one went on to explain that he instantly felt more "powerful" than what he may have felt if he'd decided to sing a verse of an early One Direction song.
"All of a sudden, I felt in control again," he added before going on to explain: "The first two and a half years, I just felt like I wasn't in control of myself and certainly not necessarily had an influence on the band."
Louis is set to share his story in his upcoming documentary, All Of Those Voices which is released later this month (AFLO/REX/Shutterstock)But while Louis explains he's "proud" of the five lads as "a collective," he admits his proudest moment as an individual member of the group is having the most songwriting credits over the course of their career.
"That makes me feel important to the band and that's all I ever wanted," he gushed.
Louis is credited for some of the group's biggest hits and fan-favourite songs including No Control, Perfect, History, Last First Kiss, Diana, Strong, Through the Dark, Midnight Memories and Night Changes.
The star is set to share his story on his rise to fame as well as his feelings after One Direction disbanded in 2016 before touring the world as a solo artist.
All Of Those Voices will be released in cinemas across the globe on March 22.
