The brave celebs taking on The Great British Bake Off have been revealed, with Friends star David Schwimmer finally making an appearance after pulling out of a previous series at the 11th hour.
At the time the actor, who plays Ross Gellar in the hit US sitcom, had signed up for an episode - the one where Ross bakes a cake - but circumstances prevented him from actually taking part.
Speaking in March, judge Paul Hollywood named the US star as the celeb he’d most like to see on the programme, revealing he’d been due to appear a few years ago but had “let us down at the last minute”.
There are some big names taking part in the Celebrity Great British Bake Off edition (Channel 4 / Love Productions)His invite to take part came after he admitted to being a fan of the British show, telling Radio Times in 2020: “It’s competitive, but everyone’s so lovely with each other. It’s so not American!”
Now, New York-born Schwimmer, 56, joins a line-up to raise funds for Channel 4 ’s Stand Up to Cancer appeal, and will do battle with Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, among others.

The Mirror’s agony aunt Coleen Nolan has also signed up, and will test her skills against comedian Ellie Taylor, Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas and Top Gear’s Paddy McGuinness.
Noel Fielding and Matt Lucas will host the Stand up to Cancer episodes (Channel 4)A total of 20 famous faces have entered the tent to put their baking skills (or lack of them) to the test - and be judged by Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
The contestants include Olympic gold medallist Tom Daley plus actors David Morrissey and Jessica Hynes.
Other TV stars taking part include The Repair Shop’s Jay Blades - who has previously admitted to being a total novice in the kitchen - Dragons’ Den star Deborah Meaden and presenter AJ Odudu.

The series, which is due to launch on screen next month, has been pre-recorded with Matt Lucas making his last appearance alongside Noel Fielding, having announced that he is quitting the baking show.
Each week sees four celebs go head to head over two days in which they tackle signature, technical and showstopper challenges in a bid to be named Star Baker, while also raising funds for cancer research.
Stand Up To Cancer is a joint national campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 which has raised £93million in the UK to date.
