Four in a Bed fans left enraged by 'nonsense score' after dramatic shake-up

Four in a Bed viewers were unimpressed earlier this week when two hosts received high scores for breakfast, despite having not actually provided guests with it themselves.

The Channel 4 show introduced viewers to a new batch of business owners this week, with yesterday's episode having been based at a glamping site in St Keverne in Cornwall.

Guests stayed at Cedarwood Holidays glamping pods hosted by Kirstie and Joe. They hosted two other pairs and a solo guest, who are competing against them on the show.

The hosts announced that they wouldn't be providing breakfast themselves, as the accommodation is self-catering. The guests were instead taken to a nearby cafe.

Kirstie explained: "We don't offer breakfast here on site. Our offering for breakfast is down at the local farm."

The guests seemed to enjoy the breakfast provided elsewhere as the hosts were awarded a 9 and two 10s for breakfast in the feedback given at the end of the episode.

Viewers were left unimpressed by the situation though, with some taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One tweeted: "I don't agree with scoring a place for breakfast that they didn't provide". Another said: "Stop giving them 10 for breakfast that’s nothing to do with them argh".

Another wrote: "It's not [their] breakfast so it should be a zero all round!" They later added: "Are these people stupid? Scoring 10 for SOMEONE ELSES BREAKFAST!?".

"How can you score for breakfast when it's a completely different business. That's like staying in a cheap b&b and popping to The Ritz for breakfast," tweeted another.

Another wrote in a tweet yesterday: "How was breakfast. WE scored a 10. You can’t take any credit for breakfast whatsoever so I wouldn’t be so smug about it my dear".

A sixth tweeted: "You can't rate someone else's breakfast ffs". Another said: "Not your breakfast though so you get 0". An eighth said: "Breakfast not on site that's points off".

Seemingly reacting to the situation, another tweeted during the episode: "I don't understand why they give them a score when it was nothing to do with them, it's just nonsense".

Four in a Bed airs weekdays at 5pm on Channel 4 and All4.
