Chelsea take on Leeds on Saturday afternoon aiming to finally get their season back on track.
The Blues have been in the clutches of a shocking run of form over recent months with just three wins in 18 matches in all competitions. That has seen the pressure crank up on Graham Potter and that could well increase hugely with another defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Elsewhere, plans are already being put in place for what could again be another expensive transfer splurge this summer - albeit a stumbling block having already met the Blues. All that and more in Mirror Sport’s latest Chelsea news round-up below:
Amid huge pressure on former Brighton boss Potter, Blues star Kalidou Koulibaly has defended his head coach by claiming he is a “great manager”.
The Senegal defender said: “Graham Potter is very good at communicating with everyone. And he doesn’t care if you cost £100million or £20m, he will treat you in the same way. That’s the mark of a great manager.”

One major problem for Chelsea this season has been their inability to score goals. The Blues have netted just 23 league goals this season - less than half of Arsenal ’s total.
One solution to that could have been a big-money swoop for Napoli sensation Victor Osimhen in the summer transfer window. The Blues have been linked with a move for the Nigerian hitman - the scorer of 19 Serie A goals so far this season - but face major competition.
As per reports, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has requested the signing of a big-name striker heading into the summer - Osimhen among those who could be considered. The Red Devils have others on their list to consider including Tottenham ’s Harry Kane and Benfica star Goncalo Ramos.
