The PDC has launched their very own 'Drive to Survive-style' series, which will give darts fans a behind-the-scenes look into the 2023 Premier League season.

Fly-on-the-wall series have proved a huge hit in the world of sport in recent years, with Drive to Survive proving to be the spearhead, having played a huge role in the rise in popularity in Formula 1. Similarly, professional golf has recently done similar, with the PGA Tour teaming up with Netflix to produce 'Full Swing'.

On the back of those successes, it is now the turn of darts to give their fans an inside look into what exactly goes on behind closed doors with the planet's greatest players.

The behind-the-scenes show will cover every step of the way of the way following the 2023 Premier League season, as it makes its pitstops across some of the UK's and Europe's biggest cities.

The series has been named 'All Access Premier League: The Documentary', with the first episode airing on Sky Sports this evening.

Episode one covers the first four nights of the season, which took place in Belfast, Cardiff, Glasgow and Dublin. The series will include exclusive interviews with some of the League's top stars, as well as following recently crowned world champion Michael Smith.

The PDC announced the release of the behind-the-series show on social media on Wednesday, tweeting: "All Access Premier League: The Documentary. We gave unprecedented access to a camera crew as they delved behind the scenes at the 2023.

"@CazooUK Premier League. Darts like you've never seen it before..." Unsurprisingly one-minute 20 sneak preview trailer drew in plenty of attention, and left a number of darts fans excited ahead of its release.

Fans swooped into the replies section to express their excitement, with @BrummieHayden tweeting: "Can’t wait, looks excellent." And a similar feeling was seemingly shared by another fan in @catanzareet, who added: "This is amazing!"
