Tottenham will welcome Chelsea to Brisbane Road tonight as the two sides battle it out for a place in the semi-finals of the Continental League Cup.

Both sides were caught up in Women's Super League postponement chaos at the weekend but, following a pitch inspection in East London, this evening's clash has been given the green light to go ahead. It will be the first time that former Chelsea striker Beth England will get the chance to come up against her old club, following her record-breaking switch to Spurs earlier this month.

Elsewhere, West Ham will travel to Prenton Park to contest their quarter-final tie with Liverpool. Paul Konchesky's side will be looking to bounce back from Sunday's disappointing WSL defeat to Everton, while Matt Beard has spoken about the importance of getting minutes into his players' legs after their last league outing was abandoned after just seven minutes due to a frozen pitch.

Bristol City, who are the only remaining Championship side left in this year's competiton, will also be in action at Ashton Gate tonight, where they will host Gareth Taylor's high-flying Manchester City side.

Missed the action? If so, check out Mirror Football's live blog below to find out how the evening's events unfolded.

Tottenham 1-3 Chelsea

We'll see you again soon and in the meantime head here for all the latest from the WSL.

More injury woes for Liverpool

It was a disappointing night for Liverpool tonight, but most worrying of all is the fact the Reds could be without two of their first-choice attackers in the coming weeks.

On Shanice van de Sanden, who was omitted from tonight's squad, Matt Beard said: "She slipped in the warm-up (before the Chelsea game) and she's got a little twinge in her knee. She didn't train Monday, she tried yesterday but broke down."

On Katie Stengel, who went straight down the tunnel after a coming together with Mackenzie Arnold, Beard said: "She's going to need an x-ray on her jaw so it's not looking good. That will be a massive blow if that's the case. We hope it's just a bruise but we'll see."

Reaction from Chelsea's Erin Cuthbert

How good was Cuthbert tonight?

Reminder: Final date and venue

The final will take place at Selhurst Park on Sunday March 3 and kick-off at 3pm.

Eight becomes five

One more quarter-final to come tomorrow when Arsenal host Aston Villa.

But tonight Man City, West Ham and Chelsea have booked their place in the last four.

Who will lift the Conti Cup?

Reaction from the Man City camp

Man City boss Gareth Taylor after his side beat Bristol City 6-0 at Ashton Gate this evening.

"From minute one I thought we really attacked the game well. We played our football with urgency and a bit of quality.

"We scored some really good goals. I think early goals like that are important, it was testament to the players and the way they attacked the game. "That gave us a bit more freedom in our play. We then needed to maintain it in the second half.

"But I thought the level of play was really good and the goals we scored we great. The things we have been working on in training have really come out. "

VIDEO: Spence slams home stunning consolation

Chelsea were heading for a clean sheet until this from Drew Spence in the dying minutes.

Probably the best consolation goal you will see!

FULL-TIME: Tottenham 1-3 Chelsea

It's all over at Brisbane Road and Chelsea are in the last four of the Conti Cup.

Two from Sam Kerr and a fabulous finish from Fran Kirby do the damage.

Spurs were better than the last meeting between the two, but the Blues deserved the win.

GOAL: Tottenham 1-3 Chelsea

Drew Spence fires home in the dying seconds. A great goal but it won't change the result.

GOAL: Tottenham 0-3 Chelsea

Chelsea do have their third as Sam Kerr gets another.

Fleming takes a free-kick quickly and while Spurs are still standing around appealing, Kerr punishes them.

3-0 and this one is all over.

FULL TIME: Liverpool 0-1 West Ham

West Ham go through to the semi-finals after a goal from their skipper Dagný Brynjarsdóttir.

Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

Chelsea should be out of sight here.

Sam Kerr times her run to perfection to get in behind the defence but Korpela makes a good save to ensure it stays 2-0.

Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

What an impact Fran Kirby has had on this cup tie. She wins the ball in a dangerous area on the halfway line, to start a flying Chelsea counter.

Kirby and Sam Kerr link-up smartly but the move ends when Kerr's shot is deflected behind for a corner. Tottenham are running out of energy here.

The Blues are bringing on Johanna Rytting Kaneryd for Guro Reiten, who has impressed tonight.

GOAL!

Liverpool 0-1 West Ham

Dagny Brynjarsdottir with a free header to surely send the Hammers through to the quarter-finals.

GOAL: Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea

Chelsea take a huge step to the last four. A superb run by Lauren James and she pulls it back for Fran Kirby.

Kirby, only just on as a sub, curls the ball into the top corner, first time. A classy goal from the England international.

2-0 to the visitors.

Was Stengel offside?

Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

From up here in the press box, Stengel's goal looked onside. And judging from this picture, it seems a pretty..... interesting decision.

Mana Iwabuchi's Spurs debut is over. She is replaced by Chioma Ubogagu with just over half an hour to go.

FULL-TIME: Bristol City 0 - 6 Manchester City

It was an easy win for Manchester City who were 5-0 up at half-time in a game where they could've had more. They won after two from Hayley Raso and Lauren Hemp and one each for Khadija Shaw and Mary Fowler.

OFFSIDE

Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

Liverpool think they've found a way through, Stengel prodding the ball home after a nice free-kick from Kearns. But the linesman flags for offside.

Tottenham 0-1 Chelsea

Drew Spence fires wide with what has to be Spurs' best chance of the contest so far.

Zecira Musovic was left rooted in the Chelsea goal, but Spence failed to hit the target.

Better from Rehanne Skinner's side.

Half an hour to go at Prenton Park...

Liverpool 0-0 West Ham

Both sides still searching for an opener at Prenton Park. Liverpool have been better in the second half, with Katie Stengel coming closest to finding a way through for the hosts.

Under ten minutes left for Bristol to get some form of consolation on a night that made have been a reality check for the Championship promotion hopefuls.

A great turn out from the fans

Tottenham 0-1 Chelsea

Can Spurs mount a comeback, or will Chelsea progress to the last four?

VIDEO: Tottenham 0-1 Chelsea

Here's the opening goal that has put Chelsea in front at the break.

Could be some debate between Sam Kerr and Erin Cuthbert over who gets it, but for now we'll give this one to the Aussie forward.

Let's hope for a more eventful second half...
