Boxing icon Mike Tyson has been accused of 'violently raping' a woman in the 1990s in a lawsuit which has been filed.
Tyson, 56, went to prison in 1992 after being convicted of raping Desiree Washington. 'Iron Mike' was sentenced to six years in prison and served less than three years before being released on probation. The heavyweight previously revealed that he had a year added to his sentence due to his aggressive behaviour when he first arrived in prison.
Now a woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, has filed a civil lawsuit against the boxer claiming that she was 'violently raped' and is seeking over £4million in damages.

The anonymous woman claims that she was raped by Tyson in the 1990s while inside a limousine after she met the boxer inside Septembers club in Albany.

“My friend and I were hanging out with him and his limousine driver,” the woman wrote in the court documents.
“Tyson told us about a party and asked us to join him. My friend was going to drop off her car and Tyson said he would pick her up in the limousine."

She then described her alleged attack in the document. She added: "Tyson immediately started to touch me and attempted to kiss me. I told him no several times and asked him to stop, but he continued to attack me.
"He then pulled my pants off and violently raped me." Tyson has yet to comment on the fresh allegations.
