As Nicola Sturgeon prepares to speak in public in Scotland for the first time this Sunday since the embezzlement conviction of her estranged husband Peter Murrell, it is time to reflect on how the case will affect her political legacy.
The former First Minister was arrested but not charged in connection with the long-running police investigation Operation Branchform into SNP finances and has always maintained her innocence of any wrong doing.
