Secret “assassination brigade”: media expose Center 795 under the personal control of the Russian General Staff

Media investigations have uncovered the alleged existence of a highly classified Russian special services unit known as Center 795 (military unit 75127), reportedly established in late 2022 by decision of the General Staff.

The unit is said to report directly to Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.

According to the investigation, Center 795 was created to conduct covert operations abroad, including sabotage, kidnappings, and assassinations. The unit is reportedly led by Denis Fisenko, a former operative of the elite Alpha Group, with Nikolay Zryachev serving as deputy commander. Other commanders named in the report include Aleksandr Polonskiy, Anatoliy Kovalev, and Aleksandr Isaenko, all previously linked to Unit 29155 under General Andrey Averyanov.

The Center’s base is reportedly located at Patriot Park in Kubinka, on the grounds of a Kalashnikov training facility belonging to the state conglomerate Rostec, headed by Sergey Chemezov. Funding for the project was allegedly provided by businessman Andrey Bokarev, according to the findings.

One officer connected to the unit, Denis Alimov, was detained in Colombia in 2026 at the request of U.S. authorities. He faces accusations of preparing kidnappings and killings targeting Kremlin opponents abroad.

If verified, the reported creation of Center 795 would suggest a formalized structure for conducting high-risk clandestine missions outside Russia, potentially marking an escalation in the country’s covert operational capabilities worldwide.
