Shooting near Rihanna’s home: woman opened fire at the singer’s mansion, she has been detained
Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home was targeted in a shooting on Sunday afternoon.
A woman was taken into custody after firing multiple shots from her car toward the singer’s house, according to TMZ.
The outlet says a law enforcement source told them that the suspect, who is described as a female around 30 years old, drove up near the Los Angeles property and discharged several shots in the direction of the home, but it is unclear what prompted the incident.

The source also said that Rihanna, 38, was at home at the time of the shooting but is unharmed. It’s unsure if her partner A$AP Rocky and their three young children, RZA, three, Riot, two, and five-month-old Rocki, were there.
Following the incident, pictures emerged of yellow tape cordoning off Rihanna’s property as two men, who appeared to be security, stood outside next to a white vehicle.
The LA Times reports that Police Sgt. Jonathan de Vera, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, said no injuries were reported in the incident.
The publication also states that LAPD radio dispatch for the incident said that “approximately 10 shots” had been fired at the residence from a vehicle across the street from the property’s gate. The vehicle, a white Tesla, then fled south on Coldwater Canyon Drive, per the dispatch audio.
It’s unclear what prompted the shooting. Authorities are now working to determine the motive.
The hitmaker purchased the $14 million five-bedroom home in 2021. It is located on a secluded cul-de-sac in the mountains on a 21,958-square-foot lot.
The Mirror has reached out to Rihanna’s representatives and Beverly Hills Police Department for comment and has yet to hear back.
