Three teenagers have been arrested after a boy aged 18 was stabbed to death on a busy street in broad daylight.

Emergency services rushed to Feltham in west London at around 5pm on Monday following reports of a stabbing. A teen was treated for stab wounds and taken to the hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead.

This afternoon, the Metropolitan Police confirmed a boy aged 16 was arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Monday. Another 16-year old boy was arrested on suspicion of the same offences on Tuesday. They both remain in police custody.

A 19-year-old who was arrested today on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon also remains in custody, the Met said, adding that the GBH arrest relates to an allegation of assault on one of the 16-year-old boys arrested. The force said the boy was treated for minor injuries before being arrested.
The force said in a statement: "Met detectives have launched a murder investigation and made three arrests following the fatal stabbing of a man in Feltham. At around 17.00hrs on Monday, 12 January police responded to reports of a stabbing on Victoria Road.

"Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance Service and treated a 18-year-old for stab wounds. He was taken to hospital, where despite the best efforts of medical staff, he was sadly pronounced dead. His family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers."
