Polish elections: Rafał Trzaskowski leads after first round of presidential vote, according to exit poll

According to the exit poll conducted by Ipsos for TVP, TVN, and Polsat, the candidate of the "Civic Coalition" (KO), Rafał Trzaskowski, is leading in the first round of the presidential election in Poland with 30.8% of the vote. This puts him in first place and secures his spot in the second round.
"I’m very happy to have won the first round, but there’s still a lot of work ahead. We need determination, your votes, and your efforts to convince others," Trzaskowski said during an election night event in Sandomierz.
His main rival in the second round will be the candidate from "Law and Justice" (PiS), Karol Nawrocki, who received 29.1% of the vote. His result matched the predictions of the latest pre-election polls.
"I want to address one of the candidates — Sławomir Mentzen. This is a moment when Poland must be saved. We both want to see it sovereign, strong, prosperous, and secure," Nawrocki said at his campaign headquarters in Gdańsk.
As a reminder, the second round of voting will determine who becomes the next president of Poland.
