Man Utd star claimed he feared he was being followed when undercover cop car clocked him

MARCUS Rashford has been banned from driving after he was caught speeding at 104mph in his £560,000 Rolls-Royce.

The Man Utd star, 26, was clocked by an undercover police car as he drove on the M60 motorway in the Cullinan Blue Shadow.

Rashford previously admitted the speeding offence through a single justice procedure, The Sun revealed.

He has now been banned from driving for six months and slapped with a £1,666 fine.

Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court was told the footballer was caught by an undercover white BMW patrol car.

Rashford, who appeared via videolink, claimed he feared he was being followed by the vehicle, which then made him speed.

The December offence came less than two months after the star wrecked another Rolls-Royce in a crash.

He was leaving Utd’s Carrington base on September 23 when he collided with a gran.

Footage showed his car with pieces of the rear bumper ripped off and strewn on the side of the road as hazard lights flashed.

Luckily both drivers escaped without injury.

Rashford later took to social media to reassure fans he was OK, saying: "3 points on the road! I’m alright guys thanks for the messages."

Rashford owns three Rolls-Royces - a £700k Black Badge Wraith, a £390k Black Badge Cullinan and a £560k Cullinan Blue Shadow.

He also has a £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail and a £350,000 Lamborghini Urus Performante.

The speeding offence comes after Rashford was left out of Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad for the Euros.

But the star has made it into Man Utd’s first team for pre-season matches.
