Tyson Fury’s business empire is now worth over £80 million following remarkable growth

Tyson Fury has enjoyed yet another incredible financial year thanks to some big fights in Saudi Arabia and his mega-fortune keeps on rising as he continues to delay retirement

Boxer Tyson Fury’s business empire has grown by more than 50% and is worth over £80million, company accounts reveal.

It means that over the course of 18 months, the heavyweight accrued £381,000 a week at his company, Tyson Fury Limited. The accounts cover the period up to the end of September 2023 when he won world title fights against Derek Chisora and Dillian Whyte and signed a deal to take on Francis Ngannou, who he also beat.

Fury, 35, reportedly got pre-tax payouts of nearly £100m for those three bouts. The accounts do not cover the cash Fury earned for his fight with Oleksandr Usyk in May – his first defeat. The sports star, known as the Gypsy King, is said to have been paid £80m for the Usyk bout.

Tyson Fury Limited is 100% owned by the boxer and has nearly £109m in investments along with £4.5m in cash and £3.8m in other assets. Despite his vast wealth, the boxer is not afraid to get his hands dirty doing the chores. After flying home in his £34m private jet after the points defeat to Usyk in Saudi Arabia, Fury was snapped heading to the tip near his home in Morecambe, Lancs, with wife Paris in their Nissan Navara.

He said after the fight: “I’m going to go home, eat some food, drink some beers, have some family time, walk the dog, go to the tip. Me and (boxing promoter) Frank Warren will discuss the future. “If there’s going to be another fight (against Usyk) – I think they’re talking about October – then we’ll rock and roll.

“I’m not boxing because I’ve got no money… I’m boxing because I love it.” Fury has often talked of retiring but recently said he had five more fights planned. He and Paris, 34, have seven children and the family featured in Netflix fly-on-the-wall documentary, At Home with the Furys.

The accounts for Tyson Fury Limited show he paid himself £150,000 in dividends in 2023 – up from £7,500 the previous year. The documents appear to show Fury has been investing his money. Most of his company’s wealth in 2022 was in the £43m it had in cash at the bank. Now the bulk of it is invested.

Net assets – what the company owns after debts – rose by 56% from £52.6m in March 2022 to £82.3m in September 2023, an increase of almost £30m. Tyson met his wife Paris when they were teenagers. They have seven children and their own Netflix show At Home with the Furys.

He has previously toyed with a move to the Isle of Man, saying in 2022: "Last year I was looking at buying a property on the Isle of Man. It’s only a few hours from Morecambe on the ferry, isn’t it?" The Isle of Man is an attractive home for the super-rich as they can pay no more than £200,000 a year in income tax.

Fury has often threatened to retire but has recently been saying he has five more fights planned. Another huge payday would come if he were to meet Anthony Joshua in the ring. Last year, Fury and his brothers found themselves in an £100,000 business rates dispute with Cheshire East Council.

It centred on land in Styal, Cheshire, allegedly given to them by their father John, which was used for an airport valet parking service. The district judge at Chester Magistrates Court ordered the siblings to pay the business rates bill of £82,166.85, plus the council’s court costs of £17,206, in December. Mr Fury Snr said the case was "ridiculous", especially for Tyson who was “paying millions in tax every year”.
