Mel B teased the possibility of the Spice Girls performing in the Legends slot for Glastonbury Festival.

The singer, also known as Scary Spice, has spent a lot of time teasing fans about a Spice Girls reunion. Mel was a guest on BBC Radio 2's Breakfast Show with Gaby Roslin presenting. During the interview, she discussed her and fellow Spice Girls Mel C, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell.

She admitted she 'wishes' it was them performing on the Legends slot at Glastonbury Festival. She told the host: "I wish it was us guys! And I've been going on and on about this for years!" Gaby urged her to give a straight answer on the future of an incredible Spice Girls reunion.

Mel replied: "Well, I can't say if it's going to happen. I'm one of five. The others have to agree." When Gaby mentioned how she's been 'teasing' the group returning to the stage, Mel said: "Yeah, there is! There is! But…"

The star added: "Well, I can't say anything because I always get into trouble for saying things too soon. So I'm not saying anything apart from we are working on something."

Mel B rocketed to international fame in 1996 when, along with Emma, Mel C, Geri, and Victoria when the Spice Girls released their debut single Wannabe. The band was rocked in 1998 when Geri quit and the group ultimately disbanded two years later.

However, the ladies reformed in 2007 to embark on a reunion tour - with all five taking part - and they later performed as a five at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. But since then, the full five have failed to tour together - as Victoria opts to focus on her fashion label instead.

In January, Mel teased fans about a reunion. Opening up to American feel-good morning radio show Today with Hoda & Jenna, the singer known as Scary Spice declared: "Well, I've been saying this forever, but now we're actually going to be releasing some really good news in about a few weeks that involves all five of us.”

She also explained how coordinating a tour would be tricky. She added: "There's five of us and we've got five different diaries, and we're all parents." But she added that fans will be "100 percent satisfied" by the looming news. Mel continued: "It's going to be the gift that keeps on giving, without saying too much about it… I’m going to get myself into so much trouble."
