Ryan Thomas may well be crowned winner of this year's Dancing on Ice in a matter of hours.
Last year, the former soap star and his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh - who share two young children- embarked on a huge renovation of their home up north, offering their followers glimpses of their project on Instagram.
Lucy worked hard on creating the perfect nursery for their daughter Lilah and even set aside a whole floor for Ryan's first-born daughter Scarlett, who he shares with ex Tina O'Brien.
The house boasts a stunning bathroom with a freestanding bath, a playroom for Lucy and Ryan's son Roman, a spacious garden and a cosy living area with framed pictures of their family on the wall. Lucy previously shared a snap of the attic, which has been divided into different rooms with the caption: "Scarlotto's floor x".
Speaking on his Mancs on the Mic podcast with brothers Scott and Adam, Ryan previously said the renovation would allow him to be closer to his daughter Scarlett, who lives in Manchester. He said: "I know I’ve got Scarlett [who] I have to keep going back and forward for. That puts a strain on our relationship because I’m not with her [Lucy] because I’ve gotta get back for Scarlett.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundaries"There is that trying to find a mix of making both work and working out where you’re going to end." He added: "I think eventually I’d like to be in Manchester with both my kids, but at the moment it’s having that help at hand in London it’s just easier, but I think eventually I would love to be back where I started with all my brothers and all our kids. I think that’s what’ll happen eventually but we’re just taking it a day at a time. I think that’s what you’ve got to do with this family life."
