It's no secret that buying the latest tech gadget will set you back hundreds of pounds, and close to thousands if you have one of the big named brands on your lists. As a regular gym-goer and commuter, I've always been into sound-spoofing headphones with pairs from Apple, Samsung and Google pinned to my wishlist, but I can never justify the price.

Having used the pair for more than a year, it's hard to believe they cost me a fraction of the price compared to the latest pair from Apple or Samsung.

Number two, always check the reviews of products. This is particularly crucial if you're searching for a version of a higher-end brand, maybe it's a fraction of the price but looks very similar or claims to have the same qualities. A rule of thumb though, if it feels too good to be true walk away from the checkout.
And finally tip number three, waiting until months after a new product launch will save you hundreds of pounds. Use this tip if you're set on buying say, for example, the latest product from Samsung.
