A new sign has appeared at a UK harbour - warning swimmers of 'crocodiles'.

The sign was put up in Bristol where several years people reporting seeing a croc in the water. Now a joke 'Caution: sighting of the Bristol crocodile in this area' sign has been attached to a telegraph pole. The sign has the added hashtag #bristolcroc, reports Bristol24/7.

The first alleged sighting of the crocodile happened in 2014 when a bus driver claimed he saw one. Police tweeted at the time: "One of our officers was flagged down by a bus driver today, claiming to have seen a 6ft crocodile. We can't find it.

''No need to stay indoors - but you may want to think twice before you go water-skiing."
