Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce kicked off his retirement in style by jumping through a burning table with his brother Travis Kelce.

Jason, who spent 13 seasons with the Eagles and won a Super Bowl, announced his retirement from professional football at an emotional press conference on Monday, where his brother Travis was seen shedding tears.

Even though Jason's retirement wasn't officially confirmed until Monday, he hinted at it during the playoffs while supporting his brother and the Kansas City Chiefs' quest to retain the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

After the Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card round, Jason threw his support behind Travis and attended the rest of the Chiefs' victorious postseason run. He first appeared at an away game against the Buffalo Bills, where he joined fans at the famous Bills tailgates.

Jason had a drink from a bowling ball but didn't crash through a table - something he wouldn't forget. Later that night, he left the suite shirtless to mingle with fans in the stands despite the freezing temperatures, after managing to down quite a few beers, reports the Mirror US.

During Super Bowl week in Las Vegas, Jason ramped up his antics and celebrated wildly after the Chiefs' win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Jason had a blast wearing a luchador mask and partying with DJ Marshmellow. His wife Kylie Kelce, who is the mum to their three kids, shared how he wanted to celebrate.

"He desperately wanted to go through a table," Kylie Kelce said on "Good Morning America" And now that he's retired, Jason Kelce did just that. His podcast "New Heights" showed a video of him crashing through a flaming table, even catching his backside on fire a bit.

Kylie Kelce hopes he'll spend time playing with their children while he's still fit. Football can be tough on the body and so he could start working in TV.

He could earn lots of money talking about NFL games on TV. On the 'Green Light with Chris Long' podcast, Jason talked about his future: "It is exciting to think about possibilities - it is exciting to be able to lose weight, feel good, and not physically fight for my life every day," He also said: "I think it is also daunting. It is anxiety and at the end of the day, it is the unknown."
