There are a few habits one nursery worker begs parents to stop doing as she admitted they really grind their gears.

In any job, there will be certain things you may dread doing in your working day, and it seems as if it's no different for this nursery worker who revealed the five habits parents have when it comes to taking their little ones to nursery in a recent TikTok video.

From outfit choices to late parents, the worker didn't hold back on what gets to them the most. The account, which goes by the name @lifeinanursery posts videos about things in a nursery that can get on their nerves and they didn't hold back when it came to outing parents habits.

Although parents can dress their child however they wish for a day at nursery, there's one item of clothing this worker revealed they loathe - "clothes without poppers". As well as the clothing choices, they also stated how they can't stand it when "parents turn up about two minutes before we close and have 100 questions to ask."

Granted, it can be tricky as a parent to get you and your child out the door on time sometimes, not to mention the likelihood of being stuck in rush hour traffic, but this nursery worker can't stand it. While they hate the lateness, there's one type of food that they wish parents would avoid as well.

We all want our children to eat well, but the worker claimed they hate: "Cleaning up rice meals." As well as this, they also detailed another annoyance is a child who comes to nursery wearing "pull-ups" - pants that replace nappies. Finally, the nursery worker shared that the last point that winds them up is: "Parents driving into the car park at 30mph."

The post quickly gained attention, with many parents chiming in with their opinions. One parent commented: "For £1,575 a month, I'll do what I got damn like!" And another added: "If I'm paying daft nursery prices I'll dress my kid in whatever I want."

However, another claimed her daughter's nursery workers encouraged pull-ups and said: "But pull-ups helped my daughter transition to knickers and they literally rip off at the sides? In fact, I think my nursery asked her to wear them!"

In response to the backlash over the pull-ups comment, the worker further defended the opinion and further detailed: "In a nursery setting where 20+ nappies need to be changed having to undress and dress all the children makes us take unnecessary time away from the children."
