Martin Odegaard has joked that he was "too scared" to celebrate with Arsenal's club photographer again, potentially risking the wrath of Jamie Carragher.
Arsenal captain Odegaard was scolded by Carragher for celebrating the Gunners' emphatic 3-1 win against Liverpool last month with photographer Stuart MacFarlane. Odegaard persuaded MacFarlane to give him his camera and took a photo of the snapper in front of his fellow Arsenal supporters, prompting Carragher to fume: "Just get down the tunnel."
The Liverpool legend's comments sparked a debate over the Gunners' alleged over-celebrating, but now that a month has passed, it appears there's no animosity between the pair. Following Arsenal's rampant 6-0 victory away to Sheffield United on Monday - their seventh successive win in the Premier League to go within two points of Liverpool - Odegaard was interviewed by Sky Sports, with Carragher in the studio.
Speaking to the Norwegian midfielder, who scored the Gunners' opening goal on Monday, Carragher began: "Martin, it was a fantastic performance by yourself, a great win for the team, I just didn't see the photographer on the pitch. Is he in the dressing room?"
Odegaard immediately laughed and replied: "I was waiting for you to say something. I was too scared to do it today. I went straight in today!"

Presenter Dave Jones then added: "We were all thinking it. That was the elephant in the room."
So it was all smiles between Odegaard and Carragher in the end, and no wonder for the Arsenal star. Since that win at home to Liverpool, the Gunners have gone from strength to strength and won their last three away games by a margin of five goals or more.

"We have had some good games in the league and we wanted to keep it up. We always want to strong, especially when you come to places like this. It can be tricky if you don’t start well. Today we did and we didn't stop from there."
The ex-Real Madrid prospect went on to say: "Every game is crucial now. You see the quality in this league at the top of the table, it’s a good fight and the quality is there. Every game is important. It’s another important game and another three points we want to get and hopefully we can do that."
