Geri Horner has signalled she is going to stand firmly by her man as she was photographed hand-in-hand with under fire husband Christian - and planted a kiss on him to confirm their marriage is very much still intact.
The 51-year-old Spice Girl and her 50-year-old Formula 1 boss husband - who has been Team Principal and CEO of Red Bull F1 Team since 2005 - have seen their marriage rocked by accusations he sent suggestive messages to a female colleague. There has been speculation that Geri could call time on their marriage since the scandal broke last month.
But now the Wannabe singer - who has been married to Christian since 2015 - has made it abundantly clear she is still in love with her husband. On Saturday, the couple attended the Bahrain Grand Prix at the Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir - in front of the world’s media and cameras.
The pair looked in good spirits as the arrived at the sporting event with Christian - who is worth a reported £40 million - looking focused while wearing a sports shirt, dark trousers, and deep blue designer trainers. While Geri looked fresh faced and confident as she arrived wearing a sleeveless dress in trademark white and carried a designer handbag.
The couple arrived at the sports venue hand-in-hand - and proved they are still passionate for each other as they kissed once inside the venue. Snaps emerged of Geri and Christian with their arms around each other and kissing affectionately on the lips.
Red Bull 2023 F1 season launch live stream as RB19 unveiled at New York eventThe amorous display will put and end to speculation to the state of their relationship as some reports had suggested Geri was on the cusp of demanding a divorce. It had been suggested Geri had been left feeling betrayed when reports emerged suggesting text messages between Christian and another woman had been leaked to others within his industry as well as being sent to a string of news outlets. A source told the Mirror that Geri had been left shaken by the allegations and there were fears she could see her nine-year marriage collapse.
The source claimed: “Geri has been locked in crisis talks with her team this week about how to manage all of this. Christian had played down the whole affair to her, but she can’t bear the fact it is now all out in the open. She feels like a fool. It has really taken its toll on her and she told pals this week she would not be in Bahrain.
“She was adamant she wouldn’t be there, she would not pretend like everything was OK. But Christian’s mum has been leaning on her heavily to stand by his side, and publicly back him, and her pleas seem to have worked. Her own team had been urging her to keep her distance and seek advice. They are worried about the impact on both her personally and her brand and want her to pause and consider her next move carefully. She feels incredibly torn between the two camps. It’s a horrific situation for her to be in, and it is growing worse by the minute.”
Geri and Christian first got together back in March 2014 and became engaged in November that year. They tied-the-knot in a lavish ceremony in Woburn, Bedfordshire, on 15 May 2015 - and were excited to announce they were expecting their first child together the following year. Their son, Montague George Hector Horner, arrived in January 2017 - and Christian has also adopted Geri’s first child, 17-year-old daughter Bluebell Madonna, from her previous relationship with screenwriter Sacha Gervasi.
