Millie Bobby Brown fans have been left baffled as they hear her "new voice".
Fans have noticed that the actress has adopted an American twang to her voice as she was recently interviewed. The Stranger Things star appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when fans noticed she seems to have ditched her usual English accent.
Viewers were quick to comment on the change. One said: "Why does millie bobby brown sound SO american now HELLO."
Another wrote: "Millie bobby brown developing an American accent was not on my bingo cards for 2024." As a third added: "Millie Bobby Brown’s accent is 95% American 5% English atp lmao."
Millie uses an American accent as Eleven in Stranger Things but spend some time growing up in Bournemouth before moving to Florida.

The pair met through Instagram (Getty Images)While speaking to Jimmy Fallon, Millie started to talk about her engagement to Jake Bongiovi. The 20-year-old got engaged to the 21-year-old in April 2023 after more than two years together.
The pair got engaged while they were on a diving trip. However, Millie explained that the proposal almost didn't go to plan as they almost lost the ring.
She said that due to being so surprised, the ring fell off her finger into the water and Jake had to go and rescue it.
She said: "She explained: So we go under, and we're like many meters down, and he gives me like a shell. And I turn it over, and it's a ring."
She added: "He puts the ring on my hand and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my finger, plummets like, so fast, it was like a a cinematic movie."
Jake was told by the diving instructor that he shouldn't go after the ring in case his brain "exploded" but he still went to retrieve it anyway.
Millie explained: "Jake threw himself into - like, so deep. Like the diver was like, 'You can't do that. Your ears. Literally, your brain will explode.'
"He throws himself, he does a cinematic like grab, opens, and he saved the ring. I truly feel like it's a reflection of who he is, and I feel like we're always going to have each other's back. And if anyone drops the ball, we got it. So there we go."
Jake and Millie first sparked romance rumours back in 2021 when they were photographed together. They then went on to make their red carpet debut in March 2022 and have been seen together multiple times since.
The couple announced their engagement in April 2023 with a sweet Instagram post. Millie captioned the post with: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all." The duo are yet to reveal when and where they plan on tying the knot.
