At least 31 people have died after a bus ploughed off a bridge when the driver reportedly lost control in Mali, west Africa.
The bus had been travelling from to Kenieba to nearby town of Burkina Faso when the crash happened yesterday. Officials have said the vehicle came off the road as it cross the Bagoe River shortly after 5pm
At least 10 other people have been injured, some seriously, and 31 people were pronounced dead at the scene after being pulled from the wreckage. It is not known how many people were on the bus at the time of the crash.
Mali's transport ministry said: "A bus that was leaving Kenieba commune for Burkina Faso tipped off a bridge. The likely cause is the driver losing control of the vehicle."
