For many people, Easter (alongside being a religious holiday) is a time for indulgence - more specifically in chocolate, a treat many of us give up for lent. But for those who aren't chocoholics and would rather an Easter indulgence of a more cosmetic kind, Lookfantastic has brought back its popular Beauty Egg that is full of beauty products, as opposed to sweets.
This year, the contents of the egg is worth more than ever before at £206 and contains the likes of returning high-end brands Sol De Janeiro and Elemeis as well as names like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Caudalie and Medik8.
The limited-edition b eauty edit gives shoppers seven products in total - five full-size items and two deluxe-sized - and comes in a luxury gold-dipped egg-shaped container that can be reused time and again for storing your skincare and make-up. Shopping writer Bethan Shufflebotham tried out the Egg last year and was blown away - have a read of what she thought of the beauty buy here.
The 2024 Beauty Egg costs just £60 for non subscribers of the Lookfantastic monthly subscription service, or £50 for members, which is just £6 more than one of the products inside alone.
With this Easter treat, beauty buffs can get their hands on a full-sized tube of Medik8's 'must have' Crystal Retinal Ceramide Eye Cream that costs £54 works to smooths fine lines in just weeks, as well as a full sized bottle of Elemis Superfood Facial Oil, which retails at £50 and is loved for leaving the complexion brighter.
For those of us who love a viral product, a travel sized version of Sol De Janeiro's 'hydrating' Delicia Drench Body Butter - which is "amazing for dry skin yet so luxury" - is included in the mix alongside a deluxe sized Beauty Elixir from Caudalie that aims to "gently hydrate and boost radiance while refreshing skin and tightening pores."
But what else do you get in the edit?
