Liverpool are still in celebration mode after winning the Carabao Cup on Sunday.

The Reds defeated Chelsea in the final at Wembley, thanks to Virgil van Dijk's goal two minutes before a penalty shootout. And Van Dijk has now responded to claims that the trophy win is more special as this is boss Jurgen Klopp's final season.

The German will depart Anfield at the end of the season, having enjoyed a glittering career as Liverpool manager. Elsewhere, Andy Robertson has hit out at Moises Caicedo for his tackle which injured Ryan Gravenberch.

Youngster Conor Bradley has also got the final word in his clash with Ben Chilwell after their running battle in the final. Here, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest Liverpool news.

Liverpool star Andy Robertson has slammed Mosies Caicedo for his tackle on Ryan Gravenberch. The Dutchman picked up a painful ankle injury after the challenge, with Robertson left furious.

He said: “Ryan’s [injury] is a really bad tackle. You can’t paint it any other way. It’s a really bad tackle on his ankle and you’ve just got to hope it’s not as bad as the pain he was feeling on the pitch.

“So fingers crossed for that one and and hopefully, slowly but surely, we get the lads back because it is mounting up now and we have to keep going the way we’re going just now. Hopefully we start introducing players back into the squad and we get stronger and stronger."
