The Pokemon Presents February 2024 presentation is almost here, and we've got everything you need to know about how and when you can watch this week's event live.
The Pokemon Company is celebrating Pokemon Day 2024 (the date Pokemon Red and Green first launched in Japan back in 1996) with a brand new Pokemon Presents showcase. Think of it as a Nintendo Direct but for everything Pokemon, including updates on the Pokemon Trading Card Game, Pokemon Go, the many TV series' and, of course, the games themselves. The 2019 and 2022 Pokemon Day editions of Pokemon Presents announced Pokemon Sword and Shield and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet respectively, so it's always a big deal for Pokemon fans.
But what are expecting from the Pokemon Presents February 2024 stream? In our Pokemon Presents predictions we speculated that we could see a new game in the vein of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, or a brand new game in the vein of Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu and Let's Go! Eevee. Prominent Nintendo Direct leaker Pyoro said on Twitter that they had heard of an outsourced game set in the Unova region (where Pokemon Black and White were set), which is notable considering Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (remakes of Diamond and Pearl) were also outsourced. However, Pyoro also said this should be taken with a grain of salt, and that it wasn't a leak like their typical posts.
Pokemon Presents February 2024 – start time and how to watch
The Pokemon Presents February 2024 start time is 2pm GMT / 9am EST / 6am PST on Tuesday, February 27. The Pokemon Company hasn't confirmed how long the Pokemon Presents February 2024 presentation will run for, but we're expecting it to be between 25–35 minutes based on previous showcases. The Pokemon Presents showcase that took place on last year's Pokemon Day ran for 25 minutes, while the last Pokemon Presents back in August 2023 was notably longer, coming in at 35 minutes.
You'll be able to watch the event live on the official Pokemon YouTube Channel. The stream isn't currently available on the Pokemon YouTube channel just yet, but if you head to the 'Live' tab closer to the time the stream is supposed to go live, it should be available for you to watch.
